Immunohematology Course
The Immunohematology course is available fully online for the educational lectures. Included in the course are all the practical labs that will need to be completed on site, along with instructions on how to create unknown samples. Along with the course we will include remote support to answer questions, and weekly scheduled touch base meetings with the learner to review any questions and cover any complex topics.
This program has proven success. Five employees were hired and successfully completed the training program and were able to work independently on third shift. Two of these employees chose to take the Blood Bank Certificate exam through the American Society for Clinical Pathology and passed on the first try. One other employee successfully completed a Medical Laboratory Science program to become a generalist MLS technologist.
